Master of Business Administration
(Two- Year Course)
Business environment is changing rapidly and at the same time, technology is also witnessing unprecedented evolution. They together have immense impact on various aspects of our life including education. Hence a curriculum must be evaluated and amended periodically to reflect the changing times. Management education being closely linked with the business and economy and MBA program being the flagship product of management education, it is necessary to keep updating its curriculum periodically to accommodate changing scenario and to remain relevant. Therefore, the MBA curriculum of ABV-SME also needs to be suitably modified. The most essential learning outcomes of MBA programmes have been identified in this revised curriculum. The core courses of MBA are mapped with the key learning outcomes that every employer today seeks in a management graduate. Emphasising on Indian business models and recognizing the co-existence of business and non-business sectors, the newly revised curriculum is offering a range of innovative courses. Multi-disciplinary management knowledge can be studied in depth through a number of electives in the functional and non-functional areas in the business and non-business sectors. Students can customize their learning not just through a selection of electives as major and minor specialization from a large pool of electives.
For successful completion of MBA Programme of ABV-SME a student must earn a minimum of 80 credits during the 4 semester. This is consistent with the UGC regulations.

We propose the programme to be of 80 credits instead of 112 credits over the 4 semester in our MBA Programme to keep it in consonance with most major government Management Schools.
